All students from Pre-Toddlers to Kindergarten have the option to bring their lunch or buy lunch at school.
Mira’s Catering chefs create delicious and nutritious menus for our children that not only makes lunch time exciting for them, but also promotes a lifetime of good eating habits. Every meal is packed with a good source of proteins, carbohydrates and fats and are delivered fresh every morning. It is their policy to avoid canned food and only serve freshly cooked meals. Mira’s is known for our personalized service and attention to detail. Their menu speaks to the versatility and quality of meals they offer.
At AMA health and safety is our number one priority. As such, our staff have undergone strict food safety training to ensure all foods will be handled, stored, and distributed to the children properly. Our kitchen and staff meet all the requirements that allow Applebee to hold a McKinney Food Establishment permit. This permit is available for you to view in the lobby.
We have partnered with Twelve Oaks for our catering service here at Applebee. Twelve Oaks Catering uses fresh food and offers Vegetarian options as well. They do not serve peanut or pork products and serve only natural 100% fruit juice. All meats served are lean options. We know that food safety and proper sanitation is important, even more so now with the current pandemic and we want to ensure you that all Twelve Oaks food is delivered to us already cooked from a TDA inspected kitchen. Additionally, all our staff has undergone strict food safety training to ensure all foods will be handled, stored, and distributed to classrooms properly. Our kitchen and staff meet all the requirements that allows Applebee to hold a City of McKinney Food Establishment permit. This permit is available for you to view in the lobby.
